Heck folks!, you could use dice, nuts or bolts, rubber balls!  Its an open end to custom !  DO IT AND POST THEM PICS!   oh yea, feel free to copy mine.

Ohhhh hoooo hooo! Love That wooden lookin' tuner peg. Have you ever taken the peg off and put new material on or is it better to just add to the peg?
Oh yes Bo. them tuners with the shells on them, i had to remove the plastic knobs. I heat the post up using a soldering gun and they slip right off.

great stuff! i have some old chrome plated tuners that have severely degraded. this has given me some ideas for revamping them. perhaps i can rough file them and dip in laquer.
