Yep, the old tea chest type the skiffle guys used to play.
Has anyone ever made one or does anyone know how?
Be really keen to find out more on this one

I met a guy from Denmark a while back who was in a band that had an old teabox bass. Quite an instrument indeed. Sure like to find one of those old tea boxes.
They used to be very common in the UK in the 50's & 60's, used by removal companies for packing house contents. Thats where I got mine from. Haven;t seen any about for years now but I'm sure many people have them in their attics if they haven't moved in a long time.
