Oct 29, 1971 40 years ago we lost the greatest slide guitar player that has ever lived. They are still trying to copy Daune Allman's style to with no sucess

Love the Brothers...all of em. Duane had that gift. ( I believe Derek does also). When I stayed in NY I loved to goto shows in March all month long it seemed we were PEAKIN @ THE BEACON! Saw some great (post Duanne of course) shows there. Thanks for stirring up some great memories!
