very nice clean work.
Easy, Sarah, just add another string for a 4'er. I re-tweeked an old junker acoustic as a 4 string strummer and ended up with a great camping/beach git.
Lacking that, experiment with alternate tunings on the 3'er, the Ggd tuning Seasick Steve uses is a funky lil beast.
Hi ya'll hope ya'll can help I have been arguing with my self about sticking to the three string or going back to the six by the way my name is Wicced Sarah, I built my own three string Diddly Bo, right now I am modifying a Squire Bullet but I recorded sum really good stuff with that 3 stringer
regarding tunings, there's always the SeaSickSteve "Transwonder" tuning of Ggb built on the 5,3,2 strings. He is the exception that proves the rule. Sounds great.
And there's the Guitbass tuning C#G#c# using .065, .045, .035 strings....
Both are unique and amazing sounds. If I live long enough, I'm going to try them all! :-)
just checking everything out
I like the 4 3 and 2....they hold up the side best for me, but experimentation to find what you like is best....any three will do as long as you don't skip sizes.
In response to Keith Duncans E-mail question,
Depends on what you want but you will most likely want to use the smallest 3 strings out of the 6 pack you bought.
