Yes you read right, a Diddley on a tombstone. Lonnie Pitchford's headstone has a Diddley Bow on it, which oddly enough the stone was paid for by a Mr John Fogerty.

Hello, I am new here. I am really getting into make didley bows. I like to make the "guitar like" ones.. I think I can call them that. I have made two short scale ones. The first one, below I made from a peice of red oak for the neck, and the body is one of those pine collector box shelf that I bought for a dollar. I also made a piezo pickup from a radio shack piezo buzzer and installed a 1/4 jack in the bottom. Because the inside has many square spaces, it resonates well.
The 2nd picture is another didley bow that I made, the neck is pine, the diamond pattern I made using black marker over masking tape. The body is a pop corn tin cover that has a great edge on. I was able to install a 1/4 jack in that one as well with a piezo pickup. I ant to install a volume pot on this one. I see that Mr.Ted has a wiring diagram out the pickup and volume pot, I just need to figure out if that "dot" on the volume pot suppose to be a drop of solder.
Kevin, here's some other views of the Ted Bau to give you an idea how it's made. Here's the photo album.
