I'd been wanting to do this for a while, and last week I got around to finishing it.  I'll try to take some better pictures soon, but in the meantime...

My first cigar box banjo.  I was trying to go for an old timey, rustic sort of instrument.  Aside from an active preamp (and it sounds awesome plugged in), I used an exaggerated frailing scoop, nylgut strings, and a leather tailpiece.  Playing a fretless banjo is gonna take some time to get used to, though!
