My first attempt at a dulcimer-style cbg...f holes took forever w/ Exacto knife, but project sound real good...its electric w/ single piezo...a bit scratchy, so I'll add a second one to mellow out the cat-thru-a-keyhole shred it makes now.

I liked your mountain dulcimer noters you posted, especially the middle one.  Your creations are quite unique.

Hey everyone, I've just posted a great Cigar Box Mountain Dulcimer (CBMD) how-to article by Diane over at www.cbgitty.com. Click here to be taken directly to the article. Diane does a great job of covering the key things you'll need to know about how to translate your CBG-building experience into CBMD-building experience!

Bri- I`m sure what ever you come up with as long as it`s got the dulcimer fretting will be an awesome addition to this group. My favorite build is my long neck corian fretboard build, I play it everyday and now that I put one of my bone piezo bridges on it. It`s an awesome dulci with a sound all it`s own.

If I decide I like playing enough to jam, I'll have to build one with a LoweCone!
