Handmade Music Fest 2010 was a huge success!

Great people, awesome lodge, intense music and gourmet food. A 3 Day Retreat we'll never forget...

This year we've rented the Lodge for 4 days over Labor Day Weekend!

September 1, 2, 3 & 4

Levitz Park, Grantville, Pennsylvania

$75 includes 4 days of friends & music & food & lodging

This is a retreat for like minded whackadoodles

to spend 4 days in the woods with strange instruments

food and a bunk is included...

We need a $40 deposit by August 1st to plan a budget for food.  And doggy bags!

Randy Bretz is handling the finances and has already paid for the lodge.

The first 24 deposits get a guaranteed bunk for 3 nights.

Camping is available by the lake or roll out a sleeping bag inside the lodge...

It's an awesome lodge in a secluded forest

This will be an historic event as Ted says. We are only about two hours away, love to camp etc.. But family obligations will only allow us to visit for a day/and evening. Is there a rate or donation per person to just show up? We will be three.DanaContinue

Hey Randy , Just a thought. How are we going to regulate the potential flow of people just "showing up" ?

Good morning Group! Things are going well towards our gathering weekend. Plans are forming, musicians are getting their music and instruments ready! Be sure to get your deposit sent in to Randy, so you can have your spot reserved for this FABULOUS weekend. I know, (secret) that some members are planning nice items for give-aways (door prizes) Get excited with us...and send in any ideas you have for things to make our gathering a special event!

Time to start talking about the music.

Who's bringing what instruments?

What equipment will we need?

How long a set can you do Sunday under the pavilion?

Let's think about some collaborations, name a song and let's match up musicians...

Also, it's time we started getting a head count of who is definitely in so far and who is a maybe. If you haven't already, click the link above and reserve a spot for $30. Once we get a better idea of how many folks are planning to come we can get a better idea of how much food we'll need and the total cost. It looks like the entire cost per person will be about $50 for 3 days/2 nights including food. First 24 reservations get a bunk...
