I usually build these "found object" guitars as a commissioned item but managed to build this one to have in my booth in a show last week. The "resonator" is made from a copper ashtray, a steel ashtray, a brass cup-shaped component from a light fixture, a drapery ring and a drawer knob. The tuning pegs were salvaged from an old classical guitar. The sides are trimmed with leather and wood veneer.
Dang Bill, this is a work of art!!
String her up and lets hear her...
Beautiful for sure!!
