This is one almost done. Will finish up tomorrow.I made the neck longer so I can get to the 18th fret easy because I play cord melody style. Brick house box. flamed cheery neck. Zebra wood fret board. Bone nut, buffalo bone bridge. gold hard ware.I leveled frets and strung it today. Will put up finished pictures tomorrow.

I LOVE building and playing ukuleles. I've build about six so far in all scales and even a couple of steel sting tenors. I mostly finger pick but I really love how accessible some of the really interesting jazz chord are on a uke. Stuff I would never attempt on guitar.
Yep, I built a pair of 2 stringers for my grandchildren with hockey stick necks, turned out pretty neat. I need to post some pictures.
When I get the strings on it I will post a picture..but I used a hockey stick for the neck...has anyone else used one of these?
