Share 'CBG with built in amp and speaker !!!'

Has anyone built a CBG with built in amp and speaker ?  I haven't been able to tame the feedback to a playable level. I put the pick up, amp and speaker as far away from each other as possible ... I'm sure some of you advanced builders know the fix ... Ideas  anyone.
