Thanks Jeff,  I am really taking a liking to 5 strings.  Have a couple new big oak boxes and cut some wider necks last night .  I think I may try to recess the pickups on these (per your suggestion) to hide the extra pole,  but still don't have a real clear picture in mind so I may just have to angle them :)). JOhn
