It was delivered in a tweed case.

Funny story about shipping with a case.  For a few years I cut up boxes, taped them together and wrapped in insane bubble wrap.  Took me hours.  I quickly realized that a $75 case for a $many thousand dollar guitar would protect and, mostly,  still have a SHIPPING BOX and the 75 cost is absorbed in the price...
