Musical skull
As you can see, this is an ocarina. Actually a double ocerina -- two hemisphere ocarinas joined together to make a sphere. I hoped to be able to play melody on one side and harmony on the other, but this is VERY hard to play. Requires more lung power than this old boy has. After playing for a couple minutes, I see my ancestral spirits and then the floor rushes up and raps me on the head. Will try to make a second version, with smaller wind ways.

I wish I had taken a video of me using an electric drill to make these holes in the leather-hard clay. What an ad it would have made for asprin. "Having a migrane?" Mrrreeeeee! "Take two of these and relax."
I'm going to have to take videos May 22. If anybody hasn't seen raku, where you grab objects that are GLOWING hot and putting them in cans full of flammables, well... The results are worth the risk.
