I use audio taper for both.

One more question on this issue still lives. Is it then the A potmeter voor volume and the B potmeter for tone?

Tom’s reaction brings up the question what is the best way for volume and tone control on piezo?

I'm with Ted. I tried 0.022 uF caps and 25o k pots, but always go back to the 0.047 uF cap and 500k audio taper pot. This combination seems to give a big range of tones (single coil or humbucker). A piezo pickup is a whole other story.

Somehow I missed this question, sorry guys.  Most people use 250k pots and .023 caps for a single coil and 500k pots and .047 caps for a humbucker.

I prefer 500k/.047 for everything, it sems to give me a wider range of adjustment.

Good luck!

I have the same question as TerryB. Where can I find answers to bis question?

If wiring up a single coil here:

1) what pots would be recommended (Audio vs Linear, 250k vs 500k)

2) what size capacitor on the tone pot?
