That's about the size these are, I was experimenting to see if smaller scales would inhibit the playability (but surprisingly, I found them quite comfortable to play at any size). Was also trying wooden pegs, they seemed to work OK but twisted apart if tightened too far.

Kool, I build something very similar. I use an 18.5” & 19.5” scale Pentatonic & Diatonic Fret layouts for my 1 stringers, they come out to be 24” in total length. Great minds think alike :D
