Welcome to the Clubhouse! How did you hear about us?
I was in a desperate search for a 4 string guitar pick-up for a piccolo bass I plan on building and Found Ted.
What instruments are you building or playing?
Build- Piccolo bass.
Playing, 4003 Rickenbacker, Power jazz, Strat, Les Paul, Ibanez SG fretless and a fretted bass, 5 string Ibanez bass, Adamas Melissa Ethridge signature 12 string, custom 12 acoustic electric 12 string, 2 ea. Adamas II prototypes, Martin, Montana acoustic electric bass, Fender Rhodes, Yamaha EX-5, Rodgers drums.

Wow!  This is really cool building drum shells out of staves of different wood.  I'd like to give it a shot.  Do you turn them down on a lathe after the glue has dried?  What degree angle is cut on the edges before gluing?  Where do you get your hardware for the completed shells?  The ratchet strap clamp looks like it works quite well.  Any advice you could give on building these shells is appreciated.
