After several CBG's, a CB Ukulele, a couple CB amps, and a Lap Steel I,m thinking it's time to attempt a Bass CBG. Any tips? Doing a 30" scale two string. Neck will be Maple with a oak fret board. Do…Continue

I'm clueless when it comes to tuning and playing. I hope this doesn't sound like a really dumb question. If I buy strings that say GDG can these be tuned to something other than those three notes?Continue

Do I need to worry about the neck bowing? Should I somehow reinforce the neck to prevent bowing? Recommended pickup? Appreciate any help offered.See More

Lap steel guitar.

I want to thank everyone that replied to my question concerning power for a new amp I"m planning. That project has been packed away temporarily. Talking with my grandson about a 2x4 lap steel guitar. That has now become the new project. Parts are ordered, going to menards today to check out materials. With close to $80 in parts ordered from Gitty I decided it needs to be built with nicer wood than an old 2x4. Does anybody with experience building a lap steel have any hints or tips?  I'll post…See More

"According to OHMs Law, the total amperage will be half that of a single 9 volt battery when wired parallel. I'm not sure of the total voltage, but am inclined to think half as well.   Wired in series, both will be double, but that could…"
