- Have built several 3 strings, learning the 3 string playing thing.Have been playing 6 string forever and done quite alot of repair. Had a small stroke and this 3 string thing has given me a much needed new format. Thanks for making this possible.

Hi David, welcome to the Handmade Music Clubhouse - Cigar Box Guitar Headquarters (CBG HQ)! Check out the group CBG Playing for Dummies for great lessons.
The focus here is on all types of handmade instruments and music. There are lots of helpful builders and players here and lots of Groups to teach and learn. We welcome participation so don't be shy.
