What instruments are you building or playing?
I've been playing Bass Guitar for the last 40 yr's and just about to change to a handmade CBG, be a nice change I think. Absolutely love the CBG's, well and truly hooked on them.
Hello Martin, Thank you very much for your advice and input. I will be ckeckin' out the web page. sounds like they have a lot of info. on on there. I bought the lightest guage short scale strings. I could find.(95) They seem to have the least amount of string tention. I will put up some pics of it up soon. have the neck blank done but still have to do the fretbord yet. I will build up the sides along the neck in the box like you were saying. Thanx for you input.!!! I was thinkin of making the neck thicker up to about the first octive from the box . with out a truss rod I hope it will hold up..
