I got my start in cigar box building one year when my obsession for instruments branched me out into something a little different. I already owned quite a few instruments, but I was always burning for more. I stumbled upon some cigar box instruments somewhere in my search and though I would buy one, but about the time I was going to do it, I lost my job. I had a little of my own money so I thought, "well, maybe I should just build them". Low and behold, here I am today...won't mammy be proud!
