Cigar Box Guitar Headquarters - CBG HQ

After the fun that was the first build, I thought I would build another.

As I have access to some tools most small shops do not (Laser cutter and CNC Router), I am able to do some pretty fun things.   I will try to detail some of those things here :)

First, I need to resaw some maple that I bought from HD.  I don't normally buy my wood there as it is quite expensive.  But I this batch cought my eye because it had a bit of flame going on, so that even the price out a bit.

After resawing and sanding to 1/4 inch I threw it in the laser cutter to cut the box sides out.

This particular box is gonna be 13" x 8".

I now have to take it to my router table to route the lips for the lids. and then back into the laser cutter to get the engraving on the sides.
