hey bill, it's super easy to make the slides actually. use your glass cutter to score a line around the bottle....one time around will do but some people like to double up. then hold the bottle over a candle while spinning it to heat up the area you just scored. then dunk it in a bucket of cold water. for some reason it usually works the second time for me. if it's jagged you can use pliers to snip away at it (grozzing pliers are useful but not necessary) then take you sharp edge to some wet sandpaper in a figure 8 motion, or use a dremel to smooth it out. good luck. also check youtube for more tutorials!
There is a music swap meet at Mount Dora Florida on May 9th - Mothers day - I will be there with a pile of my cigar box guitar creations and a harp or two. Its from 11am to 4pm and its located at Reningers antique auction down the hill from the big flea market on 441 Its 2 bucks to get in I think, and there are tons of pieces and neat things.
