Hi Nancy, just come across you're 'first build" page..very nice, I am soon to build my first CBG three or four strings..one of each I guess..hope mine are as good as yours.... You're post is very informative and pictures speak a thousand words..I get things much quicker by sight.. so the pics are great..how many have you built scince 2010? cheers from Australia..(ps I just changed my name to stringy bark..because I like strings and when I sing it sounds like I am barking LOL)
Thanks for the words of encouragement Nancy...you're right about the economy...things are as tight up here in Canada as they are down in the States.
Writing for a CBG magazine? Now that would be something. Good for teh cause...spreading the joy of Mojo to the world. Maybe if more people built instruments and played music, instead of building bombs and playing god, the world would be a more peaceful place.
Sorry, just ranting, but thanks for the Kudos...back atchya ; )
OMG,...you have our cat! ..........thankyou Nancy...kind words always appreciated...your first build is beautiful!!, did someone say Chocolate? LOL. Our kitty is a Burmese....thot maybe a bombay at one time--but after seeing some pics, def a burma......yesterday he caught a big BIG rodent, so he's my hero, this week......he is steady with doormat "gifts" so we watch our step, around here...hehe Cheers! Laurie
awesome guitar straps love the .22 :0) a friend thats still searving (God bless her) just sent me a .50 BMG brass casing that I'm going to cut down and use as a slide will post pics when I get it done. and a goofy tip it works for my pics I use a halogen work light and aim it at a piece of white poster board thats angled at the piece that I want a pic of. it reflects the light softens the glare and preserves the colors on film just remember to keep the poster board out of the pic people kept wondering why I was taking pictures of it lol
