hey Rich i checked out your web site...Wow !! very nice...my wife luved it too. I have made a red cedar flute many years ago it was a kit from musicmakers. But it`s seen better days since the grandkids got a hold of it...lol. I have access to alot of different species of woods being there`s a local sawmill just down the road and with building stringed instruments i always have alot of woods on hand. I look forward to getting into this new hobby, and my wife looks forward to me making her some. Thx Again

hey Rich...i sure would like to do now to make a bamboo flute. I saw a vid on youtube once where this guy made one . Looked pretty easy, so i wrote down the info as he was making it. Well mine looked neat but didn`t work...lol. My wife likes playing her fake native american one but i sure would like to know how to make a real wood one or a bamboo one. I have access to wild bamboo and wood. Plus i got one of those spade bit extension shafts for my hand drill. Just need the right info to try it again.

Hi Rich, welcome to the Clubhouse!

The focus here is on all types of handmade instruments and music. There are lots of helpful builders and players here and lots of Groups to teach and learn. We welcome participation so don't be shy.

Have a look around, introduce yourself in My Name Is... and add yourself to the Member Map. There's an active Chat Room where you can ask questions, offer help or just talk about anything with some great folks.

Most of all Have Fun!
