Radius is the curve in the fretboard. Not from nut to bridge but from 1 filed edge of a fret to the other. It makes them easier to play. I dont know how to measure it but I believe a les paul usually has a 12" radius and a strat about a 9. thats not exact or all the time but an average.
Hey robin. I saw your post about the uke frets not staying for you. I have fretted 4 instruments now. So I am still a newbie. But here is a couple things that I have learned. Superglue is your friend. And it cleans up pretty good if you work quickly. Also radius your frets a bit before pressing them in so the outsides dont swell up on ya so badd. I cut a slot in my pull saw to put my frets in and push the outer ends down . I hope this helps ya. Ohh Welcome to the clubhouse!
im in Lincroft..next to Red Bank. Thanks for the add

Hi Robin, yes my shop is in Glassboro. You're welcome to stop by and bring the kit and I'll give you as much advice or help as you need to get it done right. I moved my shop here in October and it's pretty much up and running 100%. Here's a video tour I shot in November, I've since finished a lot more little details to get it running smoothly.
Welcome to the Clubhouse, there are a lot of great folks happy to help you.
