Wow! This is really cool building drum shells out of staves of different wood. I'd like to give it a shot. Do you turn them down on a lathe after the glue has dried? What degree angle is cut on the edges before gluing? Where do you get your hardware for the completed shells? The ratchet strap clamp looks like it works quite well. Any advice you could give on building these shells is appreciated.
