Thank you for the welcome Ted!

The Clubhouse is awesome! I was just looking for some pictures of cigar box crafts and, even though I love the blues and bluegrass, I had no clue about cigar box instruments.I've spent the past few days educating myself,

The instruments you and the rest of the community have made are truly amazing. You all make it seem so easy that my son and I are getting ready to start our own projects - I'm glad you all are here to help guide us  :)

Thanks!

Joyce

Hey Ted,

Hope things are going good for you.  It's been pretty crazy here as we've been on the road a lot and now I've got a couple of months to get a couple of hundred put together.  Would rather be sailing but have committed to this for the rest of this year....then it's back on a boat!

Take care,

Russ

hey, thanks, Ted. The best bday present was a visit last week from Ray and Shirley -- Ray left a couple of new instruments, and started working on a slide version of the dulcimer made from a plastic bucket! If I had time, I'd make a youtube page for Ray, as he's got TONS to share, much of it already recorded and ready to upload...

Thanks Ted, I feel very welcome. I posted some pictures and got some great responses. I`ve been playing guitar since I was 14 yrs, old. I worked in hi-tec manufacturing at NASA for over 30 yrs.( LOCKHEED MARTIN- SPACE SHUTTLE PROGRAM, MARS PATHFINDER ETC.) I just love planning and building these things. I call them" Playable Art". I`m currently working on #11, with many more to come.

Thank you so much. This is absolutely fantastic. I just recently started playing the guitar and enjoy wood working as well. Sounds like a solid fit.

Much appreciated.

IM MORE OF A BUILDER THAN A PLAYER..ABOUT 99% to 1%...I ENJOY MAKING SOMETHING THAT MAKES MUSIC.. ALWAYS ADMIRED PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE TALLENT TO PLAY INSTURMENTS ...IF THESE CBG'S CAN BE A GATEWAY FOR ANYONE WANTING TO LEARN TO PLAY ITS MY WAY TO CONTRIBUTE WITHOUT HAVING TO SPEND A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY ON A MANUFACTURED GUITAR

Hi Ted,

Do you have any down under pickups made? You told me a week ago that in about

a week I could order one from you.

Thanks,

Don Jensen

Thank you Ted. By the way do you make a thumpin' phat pup for a 2 string bass? Been thinking about an EMG but would love to have something hand wound. I'm all thumbs when it comes to electronics, even my soldering looks like it has been done by a poorly trained 3 toed sloth!
