Hey Ted, thank you for wishing me a Happy Bday! I've been really enjoying reading and seeing all the way awesome creations on this site. I want to build a cigar box guitar. I know I can build it to look beautiful, but I'm trying to learn how to build it so it functions properly. I need to find out what style pick up or pickups to go with and how to make the neck so it functions correctly. Have a great day... Rick

Hope things are going good for you. It's been pretty crazy here as we've been on the road a lot and now I've got a couple of months to get a couple of hundred put together. Would rather be sailing but have committed to this for the rest of this year....then it's back on a boat!

The best bday present was a visit last week from Ray and Shirley -- Ray left a couple of new instruments, and started working on a slide version of the dulcimer made from a plastic bucket! If I had time, I'd make a youtube page for Ray, as he's got TONS to share, much of it already recorded and ready to upload...
