Hi Ted---maybe I posted my message in the wrong place? Hi Ted, Daniel Walter here again, hoping you could answer a couple questions. 1, does it matter if your wires are longer than they need to be?, and 2, related, does it matter if you go from a smaller gauge wire to a larger gauge? This is related because i like to solder my pickup wires to the larger pre-tinned "cloth" covered wires StewMac sells, because they are so nice to work with. The pickup wires are usually pretty thin. Thus my 1st qustion, the wires that are longer than need be are those same pre-tinned wires. Thank you. PS....I'm usually on CBN, but am finding i really like Handmade Music Clubhouse.
Many thanks Ted! For the hearty welcome! I feel at home already!
Gonna take my time and have a good look around!
I'm presently putting a little work area together upstairs
In the attic and hope to do some building soon!
Thanks once again for friendship.
Ted, it just lets me "Close discussion" but not delete it!
I wanted to clear up those old post on the front page, click the drop down menu and you will see there is no delete like the nation has, is there some way you can fix that in your setting on the ownership page?
Hi Ted, I left you a message on Fb but just incase i,ll ask on here: making reso,s out of the bottom of aluminium cans, there is a jig to hold in a drill chuck for polishing, can you tell me where I can get one....many thanks
I just got started building a few strumsticks after my brother-in-law purchased a McNally on line. I have been building things my whole life mostly from metal. Anyway this is a fantastic sir and I look forward to contributing to it's success.
I have built three sticks so far and now am on my fourth. I am building this one for my son who is 32 years old.
