Hmm, went looking for your "Tuning your Banjo" discussion on the Jamboree group and couldn't find it -- did you delete it?

Thanks a lot for the message Ted. I know I am going to like this site. Just got in from the shop from working on the neck of my first CBG.
I don't know how to play but being a woodworker at least I know I'll enjoy making them.

That is a small router given to me last Christmas. It is small enough to get into tight places and has the guts for big jobs also. I use it for cutting boxes, thinning the lids, cutting large sound holes and resonator holes, etc.... If you get on MLCS's mailing list they send out a catalog about 4 times a year and they are usually on sale or some router bits are tossed in with the deal. I'll post a photo of using it to thin a lid for better vibration. Cheers, FIN

Hi Ted, I have enjoyed being part of the club house and had lots of respect for you as a builder and one who wants to help everyone. When Shane banned you it was a surprise to everyone. I thought this was going to be another new place to learn, but all it has become is like the place Shane had before the nation. You yourself said it was your fault for you getting banned, and I admired that a lot. But all this crap about Shane, I don't like and if this was going on about you I wouldn't it either. And if the guys aren't picking on Shane then it's someone else. Nothing new here it's the same old bullshit. I thought your place would be another great site to come and learn, I guess not. I don't contribute anything to your site but have learned from some of the guys here. but as for getting on the forum to chat can't see it. I wish you the best of luck in everything you do in 2010. I just wish these members would act a little more mature. I'm 63 and seen enough crap in my life time and don't need to see it here. Where it should be friendship and helping out others instead of knocking down others. You can remove me from membership if you like.
God Bless
Roger
