Hi Frank you ask me what I was using for a tail piece on the resonator but some how I managed to delete you all together (very rude of me) anyway I used stainless and have reshaped it to fancy it up also put in some post to give it more strength with a timber ring around the hole as well so fingers X it should stay together. I will go and have a look at all your stuff now so hope to catch up again Baz :-)
Thanks for the info Frank! It's amazing, I've been playing guitar for over 11 years, taking 'em apart and putting 'em back together, and still never knew the names of the parts of tuners. Go figure. Thanks again!
Great deal Fin! There's a group here called Great Deals, that would be perfect there. I have almost 500 in stock but i'll check that link when it's time.
Hey Frank,
Thanks for the comments man! I really like your work, especially the idea of using screws to adjust the height on a bridge bolt... really clever!
I guess I am a bit ignorant... what's the spur gear, and worm gear on a tuner? Surprisingly (or not), I don't think I've ever heard those terms before! :-)
Hi Frank , a little tip for you regarding Oak is to brush it down with a fine Brass wire brush before you apply finish / viniger/steel stain - it gets rid of the soft sapwood in the grain

I have only found a handful of builders in florida so far, and most of them were through Cigar Box Nation---keep up the good work!!!

Thanks for the compliment. The tail piece is made out of an old tin of tea!
