Today I've uploaded a song I wrote one evening last March.....only recently i opened the saved lyrics and added the music....the words penned one evening as my Mom began to really slip and show obvious and not good signs of illness. She had cancer and was dying before our very eyes.....I helped them one night and my Dad and i exchanged worried glances,,,and when I came back to my lil apt...I penned the words, wondering how we would handle the future. Time is the only teller....and no we did not crumble, and "slip and fall"....love makes one stong,...and why serving it, is a very good thing to do. this song i will like re-record this month and release as a vid to commemorate my moms passing and also to honor their love. I had hoped to sing it for their anniversary and we were all hit hard by tree alleries,,,lost my voice--still on the mend, a whole month later....(voice is rough!)
Played upon my LRC, six string custom built by Barry Evan Russ.
Cheers all, and as always,,,,many thanks for listens....I do this for me, first, but also to share...:-)
XOS, Laurie
