Thanks guys. :)

Shanes project 'Mass Of the infinite' cd is great, if a little short for a long player.   You can find him here  http://www.facebook.com/motipage

nancy, it is really nice to hear one of your axes played well for sure.   You'll find no matter how well you play yourself, theres no way to really appreciate the sound til you hear someone else playing it well and you're on the other side of the room.  The sound from the players perspective is quite different from the sound of the axe in the room.  Hearing it on a you-tube, from the perspective of a microphone in a video camera or whatever and compressed through some crappy laptop speakers is also great cos theres plenty of reference of other you tubes and people playing all manner of guitars and other stuff on there, its how a lot of other people (like you) hear my instruments..

Must be a joy to hear someone else playing something you built and hear it sound so good.

Well, now, that makes me want to get out that old Micky Mouse tin and give a 5-string banjo some more thought!
