in the process of building one now. I was on the fence debating what type of pickup to use, but I think I will do dual piezos mounted to the plate for the best reso tone. Thanks for the video-

After i did this video i did more tests and found that a piezo sandwiched in double stick tape and mounted under the plate in the bridge area worked best... I took the back of for this video.....
