I was fortunate enough to score two of those boxes, one of which I made into a six string with humbuckers and one i'm working on now. I sure would love to find some more of those boxes, you wouldn't happen to have one would ya? Nice job on yours by the way.

Rodney - great looking guitar. Dont discount the piezos yet, sounds like you got it just right as far as the build goes. Play around with lower strings, tone control and a bit of reverb maybe. Consider alternate tunings as well. I think you will find a sweet spot you like. Not to mention a unique sound that can't be had with magnetics...I would love to hear that guitar way down low with a slide.

Rodney- for myself I like them, but your more use to mag pickup`s. I thought it sounded great.On a stick dulci their the way to go.
