Cool, Michael. I have a bookmark for those Foxfire plans.

At the moment, the only one in my possession is my "Soldiers' Joy" build (my son has the old beater handed down by my father. Instead of a skin drumhead, or wood, the resonator on this build is an old tin dish, alleged to be a US Civil War mess dish (a story I don't give much credence to). I am enjoying trying to learn frailing / clawhammer style on it.

Tres has already linked to one, but you might want to check out the other plans I uploaded from the Foxfire books ... on my page.

Thanks, Naz -- I couldn't remember where I had found the links.
tres , nice rig ..... i really like the oddball stuff . looks like a neck shim could lower your action a bit . i love the way the fingerboard dosen't touch the rim too cool tu roca amigo !

Can't shim, as it is a through-neck build. Since that picture, I have lowered the "face" (the bottom of the dish) about 3/16" by cutting grooves into the through portion: I need to lower it further still, but the action is already much better.

Gracias! I was trying to leave room for the "frailing" stroke (now if only I could learn to play it).
tu roca senor , nosotros somo tocar !
