I've made dozens of CBG's, Cookie Tin Guitars and Dobros, and Altoid-esque Strummers and Harp Mics. So naturally, some dude wants a Broomstick Guitar - something I haven't ever made..
Pardon me while I peruse your creations. You guys are always great for inspiration.
Here is one more. A VW hubcap broomstick neck guitar i built last year.
Hi All. Here is a double neck broomstick i built last year.
Would you be able to supply more pics as you progress, Ted? I'm getting jazzed about starting this project. Also, please recommend one of your pick-ups. I'll have the week from Christmas to New Year's off and will have the time to get this done. Thanks again!
Great Jim. On mine, the support for the end of the neck will be moved about 1/3 in, toward the center of the box, and that support will be what I screw the bridge into. I'll also screw into the ends of the dowels from outside the box to secure them.
Thanks for the response, guys. I want to make a basic 3 stringer. Thanks so much for the pics, Ted. That will help a lot!
Hey Jim, I'm making the Delta Box with two broomsticks. Ask me anything!
