Hey there HMC brothers and sisters...At the suggestion of our supreme leader Mr. Crocker,  he graciously suggested that I put a "Plug" for http://www.songwriternation.com/ which is a site like this one for nurturing and exploring your Songwriting aspirations!!   Ted, who writes poetry and lyrics, joined and may very well hook up with a composer looking for lyrics....next thing you know they might write a hit song!!!  Anyway...if you do aspire to songwriting among your other hobbies...consider joining us at Songwriternation.com      Thanks builders...and you songwriters come join us!!!!

John, it is only a matter of time that you are "found out" in a big way....so many songwriters, and many without insights, will be joining you, no doubt. I love to pick the brains of songwriters, I immerse myself in one artist often,...had a lightbulb moment in digesting Dylan (the modern day Dylan) a few years back when I realized his song writing employed mostly common phraseology! (which is a great birthplace for any song)..I'm of the belief that simply practicing crafting songs over time leads to improvements without trying, sometimes....I attended one class, and got alot out of that,..but sure look forward to lots of insights at songwriternation. a pad and pencil in pocket.....that is key, for a forgetful one such as myself...LOL
