So, while I've been busy on the Lazarus Project guitar, I've needed a little break (Adult ADD again)... I decided to revisit a fun little build...

A 2-String Weed Wacker Bass...

Basic Description... 2 string of string trimmer line (0.105/0.080 gauges), 30 inch scale, 19 jumbo frets, corian nut and bridge, oak neck, piezo pup with volume control.  "chicken head" control knob, position markers (paper) punch cut from an old credit card.

The total build time was about 4 hours.  Tuned A-D for single note bass playing or A-F# for "bass/chord" playing....

Enjoy the pics.... the best,  Wichita Sam
