Cigar Box Guitar Headquarters - CBG HQ

The beginnings of 28 of a new style pickup, the DownUnder. This pickup is engineered to drop into the box from the top and be screwed to the box. The larger top bobbin makes it so the hole you cut in the box does not have to be precise, it'll cover a messy cut.

Wood:
Top: African Black Mahogany, Mara, Hopson's Plantation Lumber
Center: B & W Ebony, Ebony
Bottom: Purpleheart, Bloodwood, Red Gum, Rosewood

Stay tuned...

First production model! Sounds great, duplicated the Stonehenge tone. This one needs to be polished up a little, but they're available!

Oh sweet! That Plantation Lumber and the B & W Ebony are the prettiest. The DownUnder may end up becoming a best seller as it sounds simple to install. I think I want one...
