Cigar Box Guitar Headquarters - CBG HQ

Got tired of being frustrated about the high price of tools.
Oak block from a piece of firewood lying around; 45° slot cut to accept file. Sanded to 220 and rubbed with grape-seed oil. File cost $2.99. Wood was free. About 2 hours spent cutting, shaping, sanding then rubbing with oil. Compare to StewMac at $50 (hopefully).

Sorry Arnold, I lost my internet Via my Sprint Hotspot when we moved to a new location and had to change over to Verizon to get connected.  The file was one out of a pack I picked up at Harbor freight for about 8.99 for about 8 files.  I then took my Dremel with a cuttingf wheel and cut it to size, then ground the edges off the end.    I used it day before yesterday and it met and exceeded my original expectations.  If the file ever starts to get too loose, I think I'll bore and thread a couple of holes, treat the threaded hole with super-glue and put in a couple of allen (hex-head) set screws so I can keep the file tight and in place.
