"BrianQ, yep, but one too tiny to play with the thumbs. With a 3 note wide pick it sounds a lot like someone hammering their fists against a piano's keys, with a pointy one individual notes are possible."

Is it the smallest "playable" electric instrument yet? Pickup is a neodymium disk inside the coil of a solenoid from inside an old printer, piece of wood with the tone comb of an old music box, a jack and a bit of hot melt to hold it together.…

- What instruments are you building or playing?
- I'm building my first, it will be a 4 string slide guitar, I am no guitarist at all, and although I am going to give learning the slide guitar an honest try at a later time, I'm building this one for my stepson to take with him in his sleeper when he's on the road.
