My first build - June 2012. Sounded really sweet, 26" scale. Really regret selling it! This Photo was right after it was finished. The tone just wasn't there, so I changed out the bridge and nut with nuts and bolts. That made it!

Hi Dick...She Oak...Allocasuarina look it up on wiki, too long an explanation to go on here. but it is a dark hard wood that is very easy to carve.
