Cigar Box Guitar Headquarters - CBG HQ

Hi folks. Starting at the beginning of September I've been posting weekly articles in the new "Blog" section of the website - a place for me to call your attention to home-made instrument related things from around the globe. Ted does a great job of doing this for you guys already, but those posts quickly get swept away by other conversations. Hopefully I'll create a solid place to find cool & interesting articles on subjects HMC members will find interesting and inspiring.

Entries to-date:

Dobroque - Renowned player Ivan Rosenberg plays a Dobro made out of a BBQ pit. (video included)

Euro Ford Focus - Two American composers strip down a 2008 Ford Focus and
create 31 unique instruments from the parts. They follow it up with a
symphony performance using the instruments. (video included)

Shovelman - A one-man band creating loops with his shovel guitar. (video included)

That 1 Guy and The Magic Pipe - I caught a mad scientist at Wakarusa this year. (video included)

In an effort to increase traffic across the site, I will only be posting
the headlines here, so if you're interested in the subject you can find
the full articles here:

Much peace,

Great stuff Scott, took me a couple days to have time to get thru the links. A while back I had posted pics of the Ford Focus Orchestra (Ford's gimmick: Car parts into Musical instruments), but hadn't seen a video until you unearthed it. I added the video to that post, thanks.

We look forward to more links like these.
