the pic is one of those $1.00 static cling ons from the dollar store.
I'm thinkin of either clear glue or put a coat of stain on and then the pic so it sticks good.
any suggestions?..

This is going to be great. Maybe you can use spray adhesive on the art and then a coat or 2 of clear poly.

I used some wood glue to tack it down and am finishing with 6 coats of clear coat spray.
