Kind of a loaded question but how big of a piece do you have?

I usually buy wood I like in semi-bulk so that I have spares if I mess up and in case I want something cool to carve. How much would a set of knife scales and two 3" X 6"X 6" pieces be?

Mine are all 6" long 2" wide and 1/2" thick. I've quite a bit of curly small stuff here so making them is not a problem.
