My friends band!
This is a vid of a friends band (David Pastorius and Local 518) David is the nephew of the late jazz bass player Jaco Pastorius and has become a top bass player himself. Their new album has hit the #1 spot on the instrumental charts in Japan.

I think you mean ,He won't do the "burn out".....Thats good to here.I love to here these young guys and girls

I do think David will do the "burn out" like Jaco did. David does not smoke or drink and is very headstrong with his music. I guess it's because many say that he is riding on the coat tails of Jaco, until they hear him play. He's become a world class bassist in his own rite. The vid does not do him a whole lot of justice as he can pull sounds out of that Fender that leave people stoked!

Very tight groove,I like it,I'd hang out for a few sets.I saw Jaco sometime in the late 70's in a bar in Florida.
He was far ahead of his time,glad to see that his nephew David is keeping the "FLAME" going......Hope he doesn't
